How the professionals would play 'POCKET ROCKETS'
aces

Pocket Rockets, one of many names for Pocket Aces. Pips, Bullets, American Airlines all describe this monster starting hand.
When holding Pocket Aces there are a few things to consider. Firstly, How many players are still in the hand? This is a key question as the more players still in the hand the more chance of your aces being cracked, and with aces this could cost you a significant amount of chips.
Secondly, you must consider the cards that come down on the flop. Flops that connect or are suited will increase the odds of someone drawing to or already holding a stronger hand than your single pair (which after the flop if there has been no improvement is what all Pocket Aces are after all). Other dangerous flops are of those that show more than 1 face card or paired face cards. If for example, you have raised pre flop, the players calling you will more often than not have strong starting hands with face cards in their hand. These sort of flops could bring your opponents two-pair, straight or even trips. These flops also give you a false sense of strength when you hold top pair against hands that already have you beat.
Maybe the key rule when playing bullets is "Don't allow opponents who are on a draw to see the river".
